Thank
you for your interest in the
The Merica Glory cattery has been breeding silver tabbies since 1991. My lines have produced many champions and grand champions. My kittens are raised in the home as part of the family. They generally spend 6 weeks with their mother and then started on a solid diet. After the mother's milk has dried up she continues to interact with her babies.
Vaccinations are given at 6, 10 and 14 weeks of age and then the kittens are available for adoption. Kittens sell for $600; young adults for $350 and retired breeders are $50. Kittens are placed with a contract specifying owner and breeder responsibilities. A kitten is expected to be spayed/neutered by 8 months of age and registration papers are withheld until that is done. All cats and kittens are CFA registered.
No cat/kitten is ever allowed outside nor are they to be declawed. To read more about this extremely painful amputation surgery, please visit Lisa Violet's declaw information page. American Shorthairs are good natured, gentle, healthy and intelligent cats that make exceptional pets. Gloria Welk, Merica Glory Cattery
